Crestron Fusion is used to monitor and manage AV equipment in the classrooms remotely. LS Operations will utilize the remote power cycle ability in Fusion to power cycle the AV rack when there is a need to do so and will also send out a staff to the site for a classroom call. To access Fusion follow this link: http://avfusion.itap.purdue.edu/ and enter either your Purdue credential or the Crestron Fusion credential listed on the Passwords page when asked. Remote Power Cycle Instructions: - Select the "Rooms" tab in Fusion
- Select Attributes drop-down, change from "1 ITaP Ops" to "8 ITaP AV Powercycle"
- Click "Pwr Cycle Start" on the pop-up. Only do this once.
- Return to the normal monitoring page and wait for the power cycle to complete. The room will drop offline and will reappear during the rack reboot. As with any power cycle, the system will not fully work until the entire system is fully rebooted.
WARNING: DO NOT power cycle the rack while it is being used without approval from the instructor. CSC will inform LS Operations if it is all right to power cycle the rack when they call for classroom calls. |
