On your workstation:
- Email (either Outlook or Outlook Web App)
- IOC Log
- Xymon
- Footprints
On the monitoring computers:
- Squared Up
- UC4
- Metasys
- StruxureWare
- Siemens
- StationStatus
Now what? Alarm going off. Who to contact.
- CMDB (Found in Footprints) – Who to contact for an alarm/alert
- Consult Wiki and look up info about which particular Monitoring App is giving an alarm.
- Can reference IOC log.
- After you find who to call and call them, send follow up email and then log it.
- Other monitoring situations (NOC ((emails)), Struxureware Surveillance)
- Footprints/RFC’s – Look at every day to see what maintenance is being done.
