Image Removed  Dr. Gerry McCartney (Vice President for Information Technology and System Chief Information Officer) - The Office of the System Chief Information Officer reports to Purdue’s Office of the President and develops and delivers world-class computing, digital and data resources to Purdue faculty, staff, and students.  They are responsible for the management of Purdue data and IT resources at the West Lafayette, Calumet, North Central, and Fort Wayne campuses.  On the West Lafayette campus, areas of responsibility include application services; cyber infrastructure for research; IT infrastructure; IT security and policy; academic and classroom technologies; IT customer relations and support; and the Office of Institutional Research.

He heads Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP), the central IT organization on the flagship West Lafayette campus, and provides leadership to campus distributed IT units while also serving as the CIO for the Purdue system.
