NOTE: The "AgIT Help Tool" is installed on ALL AgIT Windows machines. As Tier 1 support for AgIT, we should all be familiar with it, and it's use... especially considering it can resolve many Tier 1 issues outright...

Finding/Opening the AgIT help tool
Computer Name or Machine Name (A)

On any AgIT windows machine, you can open the AgIT Help Tool from the start menu. Should appear in the top right corner of the popup panel as a blue circle with a white question mark. You can also open it by searching "AgIT Help" in the start menu.
AgIT Comptuer Names will be of the format:
ag - <dept> - <computer designation> <computer type>
Examples:
ag-ce-tippe01wl is an AgIT computer (ag), belonging to the County Extension department (ce), issued to the Tippecanoe Country office (tippe)(first 5 letters of the county name). The computer itself is number 01 for that office, and is a windows laptop (wl).
ag-ce-mario05wd is an AgIT computer (ag), belonging to the County Extension department (ce), issued to the Marion Country office (mario)(first 5 letters of the county name). The computer itself is number 05 for that office, and is a windows desktop (wd).
ag-btny-08wt is an AgIT computer (ag), belonging to the Botany department (btny). The computer itself is number 08 for that office, and is a windows tablet computer (wt).
Where to find information needed to remote into the users computer, this includes the IP Address, type of connection, and MAC Address
NOTE: If this portion of the tool isn't working properly on an AgIT campus computer, you'll need to add it manually as if it was a personal machine.
This is for campus use only. User would just need to select printer they want installed and click OK when ready to install. user will see a prompt at the beginning and end of printer installation
For counties, you need to go to File Explorer and in the path bar you will need to type in \\42<county name>. Double-click on the printer they need to install the driver on the machine.
Mapped Drives are the network drives that this user has access to.
NOTE: this will not show any drives if the the script to map drives did not run properly at login
This will restore their drives if they do not have any network drives showing, can take a bit to run fully.
Hardly used. Just backs up Favorites (IE and Edge)
