Respondus vs Respondus Lockdown Browser/Monitor

Respondus is used by professors to make quizes. Respondus Lockdown Browser/Monitor is used by students and proctors to take and observe quizzes. There may be some grad students trying to use it as well but make sure they know the difference as well.

If the user mentions or if you ask them what version hey have:

Respondus (4.0/4.5) is the quiz maker, it does need a installation password, that is available with the package downloaded from the community hub - https://www.purdue.edu/innovativelearning/supporting-instruction/instructional-technology/respondus.aspx

Respondus Lockdown Browser
The Lockdown Browser can be downloaded here https://www.purdue.edu/innovativelearning/supporting-instruction/instructional-technology/respondus-browser.aspx and does not require a password. There have been some issues with students downloading the Lockdown Browser from somewhere online, and it is the wrong version, and will give some error about needing a "lab key." If the user mentions a "lab key" they do not have the right version. The right version is from the link above.
