(checked needs updated) ESS Department Codes

Fairly often you'll run across systems that reference various CSDS departments using a four digit number. This was used in cases where letters weren't able to be used, or just as an easy way to identify departments across systems with a 4 digit code.
Ex. CSDS uses the code 1074, this is why older CSDS managed computers use names in the format "1074-#####" New machines are able to use letters, so they now use the format "CSDS-#####" but the naming conventions mean the same thing.

This list is out of date though, and not all departments even HAVE a four digit code. In those cases, like with the PED, just use the 'parent' department of the one you can't find.
